Well, once again I’ve become side tracked by life and work. Sorry for the lack of updates lately, so here’s another summary of what’s happening.
The New Place
I got the keys and began moving into my new condo on November 20th. Huge thanks to everyone in my family that came out to help me move boxes and furniture. I still haven’t pulled stuff out of boxes yet, but I’m working on it. A lot of things I’m finding are stuff that can basically just go into storage, so I’m going to get some large plastic tubs and store stuff in those either in a closet or in the garage. My computer room/office is awesome! I basically have a full wrap around of desks leading to the piano on the east wall. I’m still hooking things up in there, but I’ve got the functional parts of my system running. The bedroom is awesome, thanks to a new bed that my parents bought for me. And the kitchen is sweet, even though I’ve still got some moving boxes in the way. I’ve already used the stove, even… and I’m not a cook. 
The Work World
Well, okay, not much to report on this front. There haven’t been any new projects to really report on, just still finishing some stuff up from the new studio move that happened a couple months ago. The weather server room needs some serious cleanup, but I don’t get a whole lot of scheduled time to work on things like that.
New Set of Eyes
Now for new information that many of you don’t know about. On January 7th I’ll be having eye surgery. Mom keeps saying that my lazy eye has been getting worse, so I’ve finally decided to get it fixed. I, honestly, don’t usually look myself in the eye when talking to myself, so I haven’t noticed. 
Anyway, the surgery basically involves them going in, detaching the muscles from both eyes and then reattaching them. Hopefully all goes well, and I’ll be able to see straight for the first time since I was probably 4 or 5. The only side effect is going to be a bloodshot eyes that should last anywhere from 6 weeks to 6 months. So, I’ll be wearing sunglasses at work for a while.
