Rules

  1. All Team SHAGBRAI members shall be within two miles of each other at all times.  At no time shall any one member be left to fend for him or herself.
  2. All members shall partake in the daily 9am Cuervo shot.  If you are medically unable to perform these duties, the remainder of Team SHAGBRAI may authorize a replacement shot of lower potency.  At no point, however, shall any member deem themselves unable to perform their Rule #2 duties.  Gatorade is NOT a shot!
  3. All designated drivers will meet respective riders at the location of the 9am Cuervo shot (see rule2).
  4. There shall be no drunk driving by any member of Team SHAGBRAI.  However, drinking while driving is a healthy activity and shall never be discouraged; in fact, we’d be a wuss if we didn’t.
  5. There shall be no sex had by any member of Team SHAGBRAI…unless it is in the red light tent.
  6. There shall be representation by at least three members of Team SHAGBRAI at all organized events held at both “town before” parties and “sleep over town” parties.
  7. All members of Team SHAGBRAI shall participate in at least one “naked beer slide”.
  8. Every member of Team SHAGBRAI shall be required to drive at least one day.  However, we will accommodate any driver wanting trade off and bike for a while if at all possible.
  9. All designated drivers will be required to load everyone’s stuff into the van each morning; however, each member will be required to set their own stuff each night.
  10. Failure to comply with the above-mentioned Team SHAGBRAI rules will result in a mandatory mooning (or as we now call it, “pork chopping”) of the RAGBRAI route for a period of time as deemed satisfactory by the team.
