Ginger, nee Mother Mary, has once again taken sabbatical from Team Shagbrai. Her better judgment and common sense have been entirely wasted on the rest of us. She has seen the light and moved on to a life. We miss her dearly on the ride (especially Fat Daddy, who will miss having someone willing to snuggle with him) and look forward to her coming to visit with Fat Baby at some point during the week.
It is obvious to the entire team that another year without our team conscience and caretaker will surely result in the alcohol induced death, if not incarceration, of many members of Team Shagbrai. Those are the chances we must take.
Stretch’s judgment has often been called into question, ever since her ill advised marriage to Fat Daddy. In addition, Mother is to blame for the creation of Team Shagbrai in 1999 –truly a moment the rest of the world could have done without.
